Δομή

Το πρόγραμμα «ΑTLS for Students”, περιλαμβάνει τρεις ενότητες.

Πρώτη ενότητα: ΔΙΑΛΕΞΕΙΣ
Μέσω αυτών γίνεται ανασκόπηση της ύλης του βιβλίου. Είναι διαδραστικές και σύντομες με βασικό σκοπό την εμφύσιση της φιλοσοφίας του αλγορίθμου ABCDE στην αντιμετώπιση του πολυτραυματία.

Δεύτερη ενότητα: ΠΡΑΚΤΙΚΗ ΕΞΑΣΚΗΣΗ
Οι εκπαιδευόμενοι διδάσκονται και εκτελούν συγκεκριμένες σωστικές ιατρικές τεχνικές σε προπλάσματα και σε ζωικά πρότυπα.

Τρίτη ενότητα: ΕΞΑΣΚΗΣΗ ΣΕ ΕΙΚΟΝΙΚΟ ΠΟΛΥΤΡΑΥΜΑΤΙΑ.
Οι εκπαιδευόμενοι εξασκούνται στην αντιμετώπιση του πολυτραυματία επί  εικονικών ασθενών με συγκεκριμένο ιστορικό τραύματος.

Το Κέντρο εκπαίδευσης ATLS Βορείου Ελλάδος με την επωνυμία «ATLS North Hellas”, λειτουργεί από το 2006, στις αίθουσες του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου ΑΧΕΠΑ (Στ. Κυριακίδη 1), που βρίσκεται μέσα στο χώρο του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης, απέναντι από την Ιατρική Σχολή.
